This rotating calendar has brought a lot of peace and responsibility in to our family routine. My kids aren’t responsible for the same task each day, it emphasizes personal responsibility and decreases tension as there is not a lot of repetitiveness.

The amount of weeks to fill out is equal to the amount of children you have (ex: I have 3 children so I have 3 weeks of rotating chores). As the chores rotate daily, your child will not face frustration at the difficult tasks as they don’t land on them often. For the next weekly, simply rotate the children’s names and the chores from the previous week are assigned to new people each day.

We like to list encouraging mantras at the top to emphasize personal responsibilities, reinforcing family team work, and small dailies that we don’t count as a chore (getting dressed, clearing meals, hygiene, etc).

This is a Word Document and each day and the main heading are all editable. If you need to change text size, please use your menu to do so. The background graphic is not editable. I have prefilled out a ton of the information (not pictured below).
